He had gone there to obtain a signature from the widow of a man to sue other heirs for her proper share of an estate, but upon his arrival, he was met with an unexpected foe. Sparrow the bulldog warns him that he is trespassing, and the lawyer climbs a ladder to escape the dog's wrath.
