This book details the life and love story of King Alfonzo XIII and Queen Ena of Spain, Nicholas and Alexandra of Russia, and Queen Elena of Italy. Initially published in 1911, it aims to examine contemporary monarchies across Europe. Alfonzo and Ena are portrayed as being in love when they, in fact, become estranged.
