O. Henry Memorial Award Prize Stories of 1921

This book is a collection of short stories who were shortlisted or won the O. Henry Memorial Award. To this day, this American competition continues to be held, making it one of the oldest short story competitions in the world. In 1921, sixteen stories were featured in its collections with some of them being the following: 'Comet (Samuel A. Derieux)', 'Wild Earth (Sophie Kerr)', 'Mr. Downey Sits Down (L. H. Robbins)', 'Grit (Tristam Tupper)', and 'Mummery (Thomas Beer)'.
