What Color Is the Sun?

 

A little Bee was sitting in the grass, admiring the flowers, when a big Beetle flew over.

 

“Are you warming yourself in the sun?” he asked.

 

“I am,” the Bee whispered.

 

“But do you even know what color the sun is?” the Beetle continued.

 

“No… I don’t know.”

 

“You’d need a whole lifetime to find out what color it is,” buzzed the Beetle as he flew away.

 

The Bee thought for a moment: A whole lifetime…

 

And so, she flew off to the next meadow. There, she met a Hedgehog.

 

“Hello, Hedgehog!” the Bee greeted him happily.

 

“Hello, Bee!” replied the Hedgehog.

 

“Are you friends with the sun?” the Bee asked.

 

“Friends?” the Hedgehog smiled. “It’s my very best friend!”

 

“Really?” the Bee laughed. “Then you must know exactly what color the sun is!”

 

“Of course I do! Everyone knows the sun is green! Just look at the grass. See how the green sun shines on it!” the Hedgehog exclaimed.
